Sustainable Jamestown is more than a plan. It is a framework for making progress toward our shared goals of sustainability and resiliency.

THE TOWN’S ROLE

The Town of Jamestown supports sustainability, and will do everything it can to make sustainable decisions, invest in sustainable infrastructure, buildings, and vehicles, and otherwise “lead by example.” However, the Town acknowledges that long term sustainability requires grassroots actions from each and every one of us. Consequently, the Town is taking on another role: convener. The Town hopes this website can serve as a tool for connecting active residents with one another.
